2024-2025 Tuition Rates

From our inception, St. Edmund’s Academy has been committed to, in the words of our founders, “moderate tuition, small classes, outstanding teachers, and high academic standards.” Families make sacrifices—big and small—to send their children to a school of this caliber. We take that responsibility to our families very seriously.

Tuition rates listed below cover all instructional and community expenses including textbooks, technology fees, athletic fees, activity fees, laboratory fees, field trips, overnight trips, school supplies for Early Childhood and Lower School students, parent association fees, and yearbooks. We have elected to limit costs in addition to tuition so families can best prepare and plan for the long-term investment in their children’s future with a complete understanding of the associated costs.

Financial Aid

Our school's commitment to diversity includes families from various socioeconomic situations.  While primary responsibility for funding a child's education lies with families, we are proud to offer financial assistance to approximately 40% of our students.  All awards are based on financial need, as determined by a third-party financial service that considers family income, assets, dependents, and other extenuating factors that impact a family's ability to pay tuition.

Financial aid applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available for completion beginning on October 1, 2024.

The St. Edmund’s Academy Financial Aid program is designed to make an SEA education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

St. Edmund’s Academy uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is December 15, 2024, for families returning to SEA and January 15, 2025 for families that will be new to SEA for the 2025-2026 school year.

Financial Aid Fast Facts

  • St. Edmund’s Academy uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. This independent, third-party assessment allows for a consistent demonstration of need across families, while also offering families support throughout the application process.
  • You can complete your Clarity application at any time to discuss a preliminary estimate of your financial responsibility.
  • The Clarity application must be completed in order to be considered for financial aid.
  • Financial aid is only available when students attend 5 full days of school.
  • The minimum family contribution is 60% of tuition for Early Childhood (grades Preschool through Kindergarten) and 40% for grades 1st through 8th.
  • While securing financial aid may be possible during rolling admissions, it is often already distributed when we enter rolling admissions. Rolling admissions refers to applications made outside of our main admissions season which begins in the fall and concludes in March.
  • While we do not offer discounts to families with multiple children, the Clarity Financial Aid application accounts for families with multiple children, among other extenuating factors that could impact a family’s ability to pay full tuition costs.

Guided by our Core Values and commitment to high standards, St. Edmund’s Academy provides a diverse, inclusive, and nurturing learning community where students are known, valued, and challenged to achieve their potential.
