Admissions Information for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

Preschool Admissions

- Attend a Virtual Information Session: SEA 101 with Kirsten Mahoney, Director of Early Childhood Division Recordings will be available following each session.
- Tuesday, October 1, 2024 | 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.
- Friday, November 15, 2024 | 12:00 - 12:45 p.m.
- Monday, December 9, 2024 | 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.
- Complete an Application (online) with your $50 application fee
- Request a Teacher Recommendation Form through SEA Port* from your current classroom teacher if your child is attending another Early Childhood program.
- Register your child for an hour-long Preschool Play Date through SEA Port. Attendance is required for one of the sessions. Children will play with teachers and peers while families enjoy an informal reception nearby. Applications must be complete before registering for a Play Date.

PreKindergarten Admissions

Junior Kindergarten is a cohort extension of our PreK classroom and is designed for students who would benefit from an extra year of growth and development before starting Kindergarten.*If you have any trouble logging into your SEA Port account, please email admissions@stedmunds.net -
Grades 1-4 Admissions
- Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)
- Complete an Application (online) with your $50 application fee
- Give the following forms to your child’s current school:
- Permission and Request to Release Student Information Form – Complete and sign the Release of Records form and leave with the Business or Administrative Office at your child’s current school. If you have access to your child’s school records, they can be uploaded directly to your SEA Port* Account.
- One Teacher Recommendation Forms – These can be requested digitally through SEA Port. We ask that the recommendation come from a math or language arts teacher.
- Register your child for a School Visit where they will get to experience a day at SEA. (Application must be completed before scheduling a visit) Schedule their visit through SEA Port.
- Applicants to Grades 3 and 4 are required to take an admissions assessment called the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) Primary. Instructions for how to sign up for an in-person or online exam can be found here.

Grades 5-8 Admissions
- Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)
- Complete an Application (online) with your $50 application fee

Financial Aid application deadline for new families is January 15, 2025. Admissions notifications will be distributed on Friday, February 28, 2025. Contracts will be due by Monday, March 17, 2025, with a $1000 non-refundable deposit ($500 for families receiving financial aid).*If you have any trouble logging into your SEA Port account, please email admissions@stedmunds.net
