• Preschool Admissions

  Applicants for Preschool must turn 3 by September 1, 2027. 

  • Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)

  • Complete an Admissions Application 

  • Request a Teacher Recommendation Form through SEA Port* from your current classroom teacher if your child is attending another Early Childhood program.

  • Register your child for a Classroom Visit through SEA Port*. Attendance is required for one of the sessions. Children will play with teachers and peers while families enjoy an informal reception nearby. An application must be completed before registering for a Classroom Visit.
    • Thursday, January 21, 2027 | 8:15-9:00 a.m.
    • Thursday, January 28, 2027 | 8:15-9:00 a.m.
    • Saturday, January 30, 2027 | 9:15-10:00 a.m.
    • Saturday, January 30, 2027 | 10:30-11:15 a.m.

  The recommended due date for the application form and for Financial Aid applications is December 1, 2026. Admissions notifications will be distributed on Wednesday, February 17, 2027. Contracts will be due by Tuesday, March 2, 2027, with a $1000 non-refundable deposit ($500 for families receiving financial aid).

• PreKindergarten Admissions

• Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten Admissions

  Applicants for Kindergarten must turn 5 by September 1, 2027. 

  
  Junior Kindergarten is a cohort extension of our PreK classroom and is designed for students who would benefit from an extra year of growth and development before starting Kindergarten.

  • Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)
  • Complete an Admissions Application
  • Once your application has been submitted, a member of our Admissions team will contact you to schedule a Class Visit for your child.
  • Request a Teacher Recommendation Form through SEA Port* from your current classroom teacher if your child is attending another Early Childhood program.

  • Register your child for a Classroom Visit through SEA Port* where they will experience a day at SEA. An application must be completed before scheduling a visit. 
  • Ask your child's current school for the following:
    • School records - These can be requested directly through SEA Port* by entering the email address of the Registrar, Business Office, or Administrative Assistant at your child's school.
    • One Teacher Recommendation Form – This can be requested digitally through SEA Port.* We ask that the recommendation come from your child's current homeroom teacher.

  
  

  The recommended due date for the application form and for Financial Aid applications is January 1, 2027. Admissions notifications will be distributed on Monday, March 1, 2027. Contracts will be due by Monday, March 15, 2027, with a $1000 non-refundable deposit ($500 for families receiving financial aid).

• Upper School | Grades 5-8 Admissions

  • Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)
  • Complete an Admissions Application
  • Register your child for a Classroom Visit through SEA Port* where they will experience a day at SEA. An application must be completed before scheduling a visit. 
  • Ask your child's current school for the following:
    • School records - These can be requested directly through SEA Port by entering the email address of the Registrar, Business Office, or Administrative assistant at your child's school. 
    • Two Teacher Recommendation Forms – These can be requested digitally through SEA Port.* We ask that the recommendations come from math and language arts teachers.
  • Register for the ISEE. Applicants to Grades 5 - 8 are required to take an admissions assessment called the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Instructions for how to sign up for an in-person or online exam can be found here.

  The recommended due date for the application form and for Financial Aid applications is January 1, 2027. Admissions notifications will be distributed on Monday, March 1, 2027. Contracts will be due by Monday, March 15, 2027, with a $1000 non-refundable deposit ($500 for families receiving financial aid).
